Luca is the founder of CLEAR WEALTH and brings more than a decade of experience in finance and investment management. Over the years, he has developed a strong understanding of financial markets and a passion for creating customised investment strategies for clients.

He has worked at respected organisations in Switzerland, including Julius Baer, Ernst & Young, and Banca del Sempione. In the UK, Luca spent over three years working for a small financial company, initially as a Trade Execution Manager and later as an Investment Manager. In June 2019, Luca founded CLEAR WEALTH, focusing on serving investors in Europe and the UK with diverse financial needs. In 2022, Luca made the decision to pivot Clear Wealth's focus toward Investment Research, recognising the industry's demand for greater clarity. He also spent over two years at Phanar Asset Management in London, working as an Investment Advisor and Fund Manager for a gold fund.

Luca's academic background includes a degree from the University of Lugano in 2005, a Master's in Finance with honours in 2007, and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in 2015 following an Investment Management Programme at the London Business School. He is a member of the CISI and CFA UK Association. Luca is fluent in Italian, English, and French, and has a basic knowledge of German.

Ilaria is not only a shareholder in Clear Wealth but also serves as an advisor to the company. Her role is crucial as she acts as a link between Clear Wealth and academic research, enabling the company to remain at the forefront of modern portfolio theory and implement advanced financial models in their analysis and security screening. Ilaria's educational background includes holding a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance, and she achieved her PhD in Economics from the University of Lugano in May 2014.

During her doctoral studies, she had the opportunity to visit prestigious institutions like Duke University and the London School of Economics (LSE), thanks to a fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. Her academic journey led her to become an Associate Professor in Finance at Said Business School, University of Oxford, in 2014.

Later, in 2020, she transitioned to Queen Mary University of London. At Queen Mary, she instructs postgraduate students in various courses related to investment management, asset pricing, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing. She has also taught Business Finance to MBA, Executive MBA, and Diploma in Financial Strategy students, as well as Continuous Time Finance to MSc students at Oxford.

Her research focuses on theoretical and empirical asset pricing, financial econometrics, and term structure modelling. Ilaria's work aims to understand market expectations' dynamics and the impact of belief heterogeneity on risk premiums across different asset classes. Ilaria is proficient in Italian, English, German, and French.

Daniel has founded, scaled and sold startups in various industries. Daniel now leads the technology team at Clear Wealth, where he oversees the implementation and delivery of our innovative investment research platform, InvestIdea. Daniel’s educational background includes holding a Master’s degree in Financial Economics (MSc) and a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford.

He has since taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in Economics, Finance and Machine Learning. Since 2020, he has been teaching as a Lecturer at ESCP Business School, the University of Oxford, and Magdalen College. His research interests include game theory, the application of machine learning to Finance, and the use of alternative data in financial markets.

Founding his first company in 2013, his past professional endeavours include working with startups, agencies and non-profits, managing large teams of engineers. Among others, he has worked on projects in the education, consumer goods, data science and payment processing spaces and has a wide network of designers, project managers and engineers.
